1. CAN YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?

If they are currently working on a project, ask to visit the job site so you can see how the workers behave and assess the quality of their workmanship.
2. DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
If one of the workers hurts themselves on your property, you want to make sure that both you and they are protected.
